My first (and likely only) niece was born yesterday. Claire Hagerman arrived at a hospital somewhere near Naperville at about 6:30 p.m. I haven't yet talked with my brother, but I hear through the grapevine that everything is pretty normal. So now my brother gets to learn all about little girls and how they are different than his two boys. I can't wait to watch that ;-)
Michelle and I intend to be done having children. That is to say, we're not trying to make any more babies, but we haven't taken the equipment out of the factory. That job falls to me, and I haven't done it yet. Just too lazy to call the doctor and spend the money, I guess. Here's a link I recently found on the subject www.vasectomymedical.com.
Any of you guys out there pulled your boyz out of the pool? How did the procedure go? What did you pay?

It's Survivor night, and I'll have to watch the show on DVD since I'll be working. I find myself less interested in the Survivor franchise this season. I don't know if that's a reflection of the characters, or me. I'll post some thoughts tomorrow and pick a projected finish.

I did it a couple of years ago. I was a little sore for a couple days. Nothing close to the pain of childbirth so I couldn't complain too much! :)
Our insurance at the time covered almost all of it. I think we paid something like $75 co-pay.
Let her do it, much faster recovery time
