The Writings of Others

I've placed two links on the right side of the page to other blogs. Maybe I'll get some other links over there as time goes by. Here's why I posted the two that I did ...
  • Mike Cope is the teaching minister at the Highland church of Christ in Abilene, Texas. Many of you know that I come out of the churches of Christ heritage. I've met Mike one time and shook his hand, but he doesn't know me at all. I've included this link to his blog because Mike represents the things about the churches of Christ I like. He is contemporary and speaks his mind. For that, I think he's worth reading.
  • Jeff Wheeler has been a good friend for the past 10 years and recently began blogging, partly in response to my blog. Jeff and I share many common interests, including homeschooling, and faith. Jeff has dabbled with various internet projects for years, and I think you'll enjoy his musings. Jeff is a part owner and employee of Laridian publishing, makers of Bible-based software for handheld devices.

Nothing new on the selling side of the house today. On the buying side, we locked into our loan yesterday, paying a point to get down to 5.25 percent on a 30-year. All that's left is to close by December 3. Continue to pray that our current house sells.
