We're Moving!

It's been almost a month when I last wrote to tell you we were thinking about building a home. That process came to a halt when I got back all of my building estimates. So we dug into the multiple listings, found a house we liked, and we're now planning for a December move.

We'll be moving back to Marion, just next door to Cedar Rapids, which is the town where I grew up. I was on the Marion north side ... the new house is Marion SOUTH side (aka the Marion school district). That may sound sacriligious to some of you :-)

Now we have a house to sell. I hope that part of the process is as easy as the finding part was. We also have the home inspection, scheduled for Friday. Pray that both the inspection and the listing/response to our current house goes well. Don't want to carry two mortgages into 2006.

I'll write more about the new place as info comes to me. In short, we look forward to moving in, entertaining you, and dying in that house.
