Papers signed

Today we signed the papers to accept the offer we received Sunday, and to move the closing date of our purchase up to Nov. 28, the Monday following Thanksgiving. Our close in Cedar Rapids will be Friday, the third of December, with possession on Saturday. That gives us a week to move the smaller stuff and a van for Saturday. Looks like everything is as clear as possible. If we can get through the inspection on our house (later this week), things will be all wrapped up until move time!
This has been such a blessing to have things fall into place on both ends. It's just now starting to hit that we really are moving, and we'll spend Christmas and Allie's birthday in our new home. It also has hit me that we'll be moving out of this house we've put so much work into, as has Michelle's dad (great wood laminate floors we just installed in the spring).
Witht the land buying, house hunting, house selling stuff just about wrapped up, I'm ready to get back to work. Now I have to pay for all these transactions, and comparing my productivity from this year to last, its quite evident that my head has not been in my business. Nothing to worry too much about, but I do need to be diligent about working a little smarter and more efficiently going forward.
Friday I'll post my prediction for this weeken's football matchup, and the Survivor recap from Thursday.
