Here I Am

Been a few days since my last post. I've been busy working, trying to reestablish a few "must dos" in order to feed the family. It's funny how a good habit takes so long to become a good habit (some experts say 30 days or more), but how quickly good habits are replaced with bad ones (you just think it and its already done!)

-------------------------------------------

Brokeback Mountain??? Obviously the Hollywood folk didn't read my confidential memo to them (see the archives). Homosexual cowboys who can't "act" on their love for each other because they've already married and had kids. Oh, and they live in a more societal repressive time in history.

Yeah, that's a movie I'm dying to see. I think I'll take the kids, too.

I recently discovered Wikipedia. It has occurred to me in the last two years or so that I am no longer technologically literate. I used to be, but not any more. iPods, in-home networks, cell phones that take pictures (or are they cameras that let you dial?) ... and are blackberries still a fruit picked from a bush? Yes, I'm embarrassed to say that I have fallen into the big bell curve of technology, and will never again catch up.

-------------------------------------------

Light of the world, You stepped down into darkness,
Opened my eyes, let me see.
Beauty that made this heart adore You,
Hope of a life spent with You.

Here I am to worship, here I am to bow down,
Here I am to say that You're my God.
You're alltogether lovely, alltogether worthy,
Alltogether wonderful to me.
